How it all started...
In 2023, a small group of believers began meeting together with the singular purpose of establishing a faith community that was firmly rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and within the historical Methodist tradition in which Scripture and orthodoxy is honored and upheld. Over the coming year, this small group of believers experienced God birthing a radical vision in their hearts. A vision that takes seriously the promise that anyone who is in Christ is a New Creation.
Expanding the vision...
In 2024, the leadership of this faith community committed themselves to prayer and overwhelmingly voted to take the necessary steps to join the Global Methodist Church. On August 4, New Creation Global Methodist Church opened its doors and began a radical journey of bringing new life, reconciliation, and the presence of Christ to all people.
Where we are headed...
New Creation is firmly committed to the transformative work of Christ and hopes that all people will experience the promise of becoming a New Creation by surrendering fully to His Lordship.
We are creating a community of authentic believers who Love God, Live by Faith, and are Known by Love. We are taught that the greatest commandment is to love God and to love our neighbor. Through our strategic discipleship program, we explore in depth the meaning of love and its implications on the larger community. Inherently, we understand that we cannot love others until we fully love God and His Word. As we learn to abide in Him, our love for others will naturally flow from our thoughts, words and deeds. We intentionally challenge believers to embrace a faith that holds fast to the transformative teachings of Jesus and live out that faith through service and deed.
